How do we protect your information? 

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including when you place an order. However, no security measures are impenetrable and there are always security risks. Designer Frames Outlet will notify you and any regulatory body of any breach of your PII or Designer Frames Outlet security measures, if it is legally required to do so.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and to those that are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies? 

Yes, as stated above, we do use persistent and session cookies. For how long do we retain your data?

Designer Frames Outlet does not, however, retain your personally sensitive data for longer than necessary for the uses disclosed herein, and your personally sensitive data will be used solely for the purposes of receiving, reviewing, and fulfilling your prescription eyewear order and to store your prescription to enable you to more quickly order prescription eyewear in the future.

Childrens’ Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens’ Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Right of Access, Rectification, Correction, Erasure, Transfer, and Withdrawal

Under the law, you may have a right to request access to your PII for rectification, correction, erasure, transfer, or restriction, or to object to its processing or withdraw your consent.
